WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATIONS AT SUMMER CAMP “FLYING ANGELS” FOR INNER BEAUTIFICATION AT KOELNAGAR CENTRE OF BRAHMA KUMARIS

Today on 18/12/2017 at about 300 Brahma Kumaris, students gathered at
Community centre, Rourkela for a Meditation Retreat program conducted by
senior Expert Rajyogi’s – B K Shrikant, National Co-ordinator of SpARC (Spiritual
Applications Research Centre an active Wing of Rajyoga Education & Research
Foundation ) from Mount Abu, B K Bala Kishore from Hyderabad, B K Durgesh
Nandini from Bhubaneswar and B K Shivani Sharma from Mumbai. Brother B K
Bala Kishore highlighted on the Process of Sanskar Transformation wherein he
gave few easy and practical tips to eradicate old and deep rooted sanskars
lying in the Soul. Brother B K Shrikant guided the gathering with a Commentry
to Experience the Self (Soul) and its loveful union with Supreme father which
the audience felt a memorable and wonderful moments of Deep Meditation.
All of the audience felt that they were detached from this material world and
immersed in the Ocean of Bliss in those moments of solitude. Sister B K
Durgesh also gave her valuable talk and clarified the deep meaning of Spiritual
points which are very essential to make our Life Happy and contended. Mr.
Surender Baral, Secretary of Community Centre, Sector-1 was invited as Guest
of Honour for this program. The Program was started at 6.30 am and ended
with a healthy & Nutritious Lunch by 2.00 pm.
During the Second Half of the day another program was also successfully
organised by Vivekananda Club of NIT Sudents and Brahma Kumaris,
Koelnagar, Rourkela at Bhubaneswar Behera Auditorium with the Title as
TRAIN YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR BRAIN. Brother B K Bala Kishore from
Hyderabad was the Key Speaker of this program who gave his valuable and
practical tips on the topic which about 300 students and faculty members of
NIT have appreciated. This program was started at 5.30 pm and ended with
Tea and Snacks for the participants.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP PRESS REPORT
On the eve of closing ceremony of Kali –Puja at H-Block Puja Pandal, 30th October, 2017(Monday) a Blood Donation Camp was organised with the whole-hearted assistance of Rourkela Government Hospital, Blood Bank Team and Sector-1, Community Center authority. Dr. Pandit Sahu, Blood Bank officer Head of the Team from Rourkela Government Hospital conducted the collection of Blood from 31 Donor’s which started at 10 am and finished by 2.30 pm. Mr. Surender Baral, Secretary and Mr. Minaketan Rout, Executive member of Community Center, Sector-1 gave full support for conducting the camp at the premises of Community Center, Sector-1, Rourkela. Dr. Basant Kumar Mishra, Health Officer from Rourkela Muncipal Corporation was invited as Chief Guest of this camp who applauded the noble work taken-up by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalya, Koelnagar Branch, Rourkela. He also expected that in future also such kind of camps shall be organised and necessary assistance will be provided by their department also for its success.
On the eve of pious festival “RAKSHA BANDHAN” different programs were
organised by the dedicated sisters of PRAJAPITA BRAHMA KUMARIS
ISHWARIYA VISWA VIDYALYA, Koelnagar, Rourkela branch. They explained the
real significance of this festival and tied sacred thread of Rakhi on the hands of
all invited guests and its regular students called Brahma Kumar and Brahma
Following Programs were conducted during the Festival on 7 th August 2017:
1. Koelnagar center of Brahma Kumaris where around 40 residents of
koelnagar visited on the eve and about 120 regular students tied Rakhi
by the sisters of the center.
2. Police Station of Bisra where Inspector Incharge Mr. Prabhat Biswal
shown keen interest on the festival and tied Rakhi at their office with
their 10 staff members.
3. CRPF Asst. Commandant Mr. Sanjay Thakur of Bisra gathered all its
available Jawans where sisters tied Rakhi at their office and they were
also explained the spiritual meaning of Raksha Bandhan. Mr Sanjay
Thakur also given his whole hearted consent to organize in future the
program for Jawans on the topics like Stress Management, Art of
positive Thinking and Meditation Learning etc.
4. All the Staff members of State Bank of India , Koelnagar Branch
alongwith its Branch Head tied rakhi at their branch. About 20 staff
members were available who appreciated and welcomed the Brahma
Kumari Sisters on the Eve.
5. Police Inspector Mr DiptiKant Pradhan, Incharge of Koelnagar, Police
Station shown keen interest to get this festival celebrated at their office
with his team. Around 10 members whole heartedly tied rakhi from
Brahma Kumari Sister’s. Mr Pradhan also shown interest to learn
Meditation in future under the guidance of Brahma Kumari sisters.
6. WESCO’s Koelnagar collection office and line distribution office staff
members also welcomed Brahma Kumari sisters at their office to get tied
Rakhi on their hands.
7. A team of 10 staff members of ORTEL, Koelnagar office also being tied
Rakhi by the sisters of Brahma Kumaris at their office.
8. C V Raman Girl’s Hostel of NIT, Rourkela also tied Rakhi from the sisters
of Brahma Kumaris, Koelnagar. Brahma Kumari sisters visited the Hostel
and explained the real significance of Rakhi to about 50 students
available. All the students even enjoyed that the Rakhi is tied to even
sisters by the understanding that all the human beings are souls of one
supreme father, The GOD and the body may be either Male or Female.
So by tying Rakhi we get Raksha from the GOD.
