CONSOLIDATED REPORT OF DRUGS DE-ADDICTION
AWARENESS CONDUCTED BY PRAJAPITA BRAHMA
KUMARIS ISHWARIYA VISHWA VIDYALAYA, KOELNAGAR,

ROURKELA FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 2019

Following programs on Drugs De-addiction awareness were conducted during
the month.
1. On 5th April 2019 from 7.30 am to 10.30 am two sessions were
conducted for presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector
on the topic of “Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 330 students of
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector-6, Rourkela with kind permission of Mr.
A.P.S.Brar, the Principal at their school premises.
2. On 6th April 2019 from 10 am to 11.30 am a session was conducted for
presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector on the topic of
“Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 290 students of Government Girls
High School, Nuagaon with kind permission of Mrs. Padmini Sarangi, the
Principal at their school premises.
3. On 6th April from 5.00 pm onwards about 70 villagers of Limda gathered
near Club House along with the invited Guest, the Chairman of Limda
Village Mr. Makhlu Ekka for successful completion of program “Drugs
De-Addiction Awareness” through Projector Video show with PPT
Presentation and Picture Exhibits.
4. On 7th April, 2019 from 4.00 pm onwards till 8.30 pm about 70 villagers
of Lindra and 10 students from Brahma Kumaris, Koelnagar, Rourkela
joined for successful completion of program “Drugs De-Addiction
Awareness” through Walk Rally, Projector Video show, PPT Presentation
and Picture Exhibits.
5. On 9th April 2019 from 9 am to 10.30 am a session was conducted for
presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector on the topic of
“Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 735 students of MGM English
Medium School, Jagda with the kind permission of Principal, Father V
Daniel, at their school premises.
6. On 11th April 2019 from 9 am to 10.30 am a session was conducted for
presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector on the topic of
“Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 265 students of Ispat English
Medium School, Sector-20 with the kind permission of Principal, Dr. A K.
Samantray, at their school premises.

7.On 13th April 2019 from 9 am to 10.30 am a session was conducted for
presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector on the topic of
“Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 700 students of Saraswati Sishu
Vidya Mandir School, Jagda with the kind permission of Principal, Mr.
Baisnab Charan Mohapatra, at their school premises.
8. On 16th April 2019 from 9 am to 10.30 am a session was conducted for
presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector on the topic of
“Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 200 students of Saraswati Sishu
Vidya Mandir School, Sector-6 with the kind permission of Principal, Mr.
Surendra Kumar Satapathy, at their school premises.
9. On 17th April 2019 from 6.30 am to 8 am a session was conducted for
presentation of Video shows and PPT through Projector on the topic of
“Drugs De-Addiction Awareness” for 575 students of Saint Paul’s School,
Hamirpur with the kind permission of Principal, Father Joseph
Sarpirasadam, at their school premises.

During the above programs around 3235 people/students were taught on the
following topics by B K Rajiv.
1. What is Addiction?
2. Types of Addiction?
3. Reasons for Addiction?
4. In India, which sector of society and at what age got affected by this
curse?
5. What kind of loss affects the addict?
6. Who are responsible for addiction?
7. What measures one shall adopt to curb the addiction?
8. What are the benefits of Post De-addiction?
9. Role of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya by way
of training Rajyoga Meditation totally Free of cost.

 

ROURKELA :DRUG DE-ADDICTION PROGRAM at TANGARPAL

 

A program about Holy Shiv Jayanti along with Drugs De-Addiction Awareness
was conducted at Tangarpalli Village on 12th March, 2019 from 5.00 pm
onwards. About 50 villagers and 10 students of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris
Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya from Koelnagar Center participated on this
occasion. B K Jayshree, Center In-charge of Koelnagar delivered a talk about
the spiritual significance of Shivratri and there after she along with the
students and villagers lighted the candles and the ceremony of Flag Hosting of
Incorporeal God Shiva took place. All of the present souls took oath to leave
their weaknesses under this pious flag and subsequently enjoyed Godly Prasad.
Thereafter, a Video show and Pictures Exhibition on Drugs De-Addiction
Awareness was shown by B K Rajiv accompanied with a team of B K Pushpa, B
K Itishree and B K Biren. The villagers were taught on the following topics
under this program.
1. What is Addiction?
2. Types of Addiction?
3. Reasons for Addiction?
4. In India, which sector of society and at what age got affected by this
curse?
5. What kind of loss affects the addict?
6. Who are responsible for addiction?
7. Measures to curb the addiction.
8. Benefits of Post De-addiction?
9. Role of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya by way of
training Rajyoga Meditation totally Free of cost.
Above information was given to the inhabitants of Tangarpalli by way of Short
Plays and Tele Films through Projector Show and Picture Exhibition. This
Program was concluded at 8.30 pm with a warm invitation to all villagers to
learn Rajyoga Meditation, Free of charge at our Koelnagar and Bisra Center.

Program of Meditation Retreat for Rourkela BK’s and Engineering Students of NIT by SpARC Wing

PRESS RELEASE MATTER

Today on 18/12/2017 at about 300 Brahma Kumaris, students gathered at Community centre, Rourkela for a Meditation Retreat program conducted by senior Expert Rajyogi’s – B K Shrikant, National Co-ordinator of SpARC (Spiritual Applications Research Centre an active Wing of Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation ) from Mount Abu, B K Bala Kishore from Hyderabad, B K Durgesh Nandini from Bhubaneswar and B K Shivani Sharma from Mumbai. Brother B K Bala Kishore highlighted on the Process of Sanskar Transformation wherein he gave few easy and practical tips to eradicate old and deep rooted sanskars lying in the Soul. Brother B K Shrikant guided the gathering with a Commentry to Experience the Self (Soul) and its loveful union with Supreme father which the audience felt a memorable and wonderful moments of Deep Meditation. All of the audience felt that they were detached from this material world and immersed in the Ocean of Bliss in those moments of solitude. Sister B K Durgesh also gave her valuable talk and clarified the deep meaning of Spiritual points which are very essential to make our Life Happy and contended. Mr. Surender Baral, Secretary of Community Centre, Sector-1 was invited as Guest of Honour for this program. The Program was started at 6.30 am and ended with a healthy & Nutritious Lunch by 2.00 pm. During the Second Half of the day another program was also successfully organised by Vivekananda Club of NIT Sudents and Brahma Kumaris, Koelnagar, Rourkela at Bhubaneswar Behera Auditorium with the Title as TRAIN YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR BRAIN. Brother B K Bala Kishore from Hyderabad was the Key Speaker of this program who gave his valuable and practical tips on the topic which about 300 students and faculty members ofNIT have appreciated.
